warmer weather

Hello there,
Well i'm still in SD but more north where my husband grew up and we spent alot of time the last 5 years he was alive. A retreat that is calming and also hard 50for me to be, its getting better over time.
The weather is warmer and I've packed away my long jon stuff, still not bad for SD the end of june. Had a couple DR. appointments, getting things done for the yearly stuff. and still a few more to go.
My sister n law is doing pretty good with here cancer treatments, gets a little more tired, especially on the humid days and right after her treatment. having a mri done soon and then more treatments. And she still has all her hair. I think the treatment have slowed the growth down but not loosing any.
Had some family Birthdays this month and even a granddaughter today. happy birthday Sweety if you read grandma blog.
having a little trouble getting my pulse rate to stay above 50's so feel a little hohum some days, the dr. is checking me out so no worries please, i'm in good hands.
Loving alot of the E'mails, some i'll take to heart and some make me laugh, THANKS.
Will be heading east around the 10th of jul. trying to see family and friends along the way.

By the way make a new friend this week, or let the friends you already have know your thinking of them.

rain-rain-rain

The title isn't lying. Its been raining almost every day or looked like it was going to rain.
Still wearing long sleeves most of the time. It just isn't June to me, but I guess its a little better than real hot and high humid weather.
Got some personal stuff done like twice yearly teeth cleaning, RV oil change, its good to have compitant nephews to help me out, so I can go another 5,000 miles before I need to do it again. Even got the air filter changed, should have done that more often, but now I know. I took the car in to see about taking some road paint that got sprayed the front, it didn't come off, they scraped the window but it needed more powerfull salvent to get it off the bumpers and side mirrors. Will try to figure something out later down the road.
Got to help with watching a 2 1/2 month old for about 10 hours. It was pretty easy, it took 3 adults to make it through, but when Mom got off work and picked him up it was time for us grandparents to rest a little. Sure glad GOD gave little ones to young people. and let the older ones be the spoilers.
More appointment sceduled the rest of the month to get yearly stuff done, some aren't as fun and others but need to stay healthy so can keep traveling.
Lost and cousin this past week and that helps remind me to tell the ones you love often and don't take yourself too seriously, Enjoy your time on earth

SD Happenings

My sister n laws and I went for a road trip the first part of the week and it was wonderful. The companionship was the best. We met a couple other sisters for a good lunch and more visiting.. Went to a cemetery where above on a hill is a labrinth that some students put in and a water fall, plants and seating. It is amazing and so inspiring to walk it and let your mind wonder...
After our lunch we wondered around Prairie Retreat to see if there might be a good place out there for a labrinth. think it was successful in finding a perfect spot... Prairie Retreat is a place that if so calming but yet active for farm animals, and hunters and visiters love it there. Knowing this is cuz my husband and I spent time
On our way back home we picked up a brother n law and he helped by driving back so us sisters could nap a little.
Wed was a day of rest and recoop a little. The sister n law that is going through cancer treatments is doing pretty good. A little tired, expected with the chemo, other meds what her body is going through.
Even had my yearly medical checkup, so had to fast one morning and by noon i was really hungry.
Today was a little tireing, up early to take a neice to have minor surgery then apt. for my sistr n law with wound nurse. A very long day that was more stressful than you'd think.
Well enough for today. tell your loved ones that you love them often tomorrow may never come
