Hello,
I'm in Gold Canyon with a classmates. Was here less than a day when they offered me a job that I couldn't turn down. I didn't have to think too hard about it, beings I'm not on any too regid scedule. The job is what I need for a little while. It might be a little rough at first, baby sitting 2 cat and watching the house that has a hot tub and the beautiful sky's of AZ. to see all day. The sunsets are soooo awsome, haven't seen the sunrise yet, but maybe at least one time i can get up early enough. They will be gone for a couple weeks and that will give me time to get alot done that I have been putting offfff for far too long. Paper work, going through storage compartments, washing the RV, tires rotated on car, and so much more than i have time to write down.
Went for a drive thursday to the mine, did a little strolling through bushes and rock to see what we could find. Found some pieces of pottery with a design that is really old. The mine now used to be a minning town in the 1880's. They have pictures of the town and are finding alot of old stuff. Very interesting putting together old pict, with the genealogy work that I have been doing. The classes have really helped me. I have also learned that I'm behing in stuff that alot of other people already know, oh well better late than never.
Been here a week and up till the last couple of days its been beautiful. the clouds started coming in on fri. and are leaving today. The weather is still very cool, or cold for me, cuz i'm a sissy.
Have been trying to get some walking in while i'm here, its been really good and been able to sleep better with the exercising that has been along time coming too. I have a walking stick they gave me, in case of critters in the desert and balance, so been doing some upper body stuff too done on my walks.
I'll try to put some pict in next time of the sunsets and even a sunrise, don't hold your breath.
Well, need a shower after that long walk this morning.... Thanks for the commets about my blog. Look forward to more commets, just ignore my typo's (not spelling mistakes) when you leave a note to me.
Carrol
